Since 2003, SJYS has successfully administered its educational outreach program, Music Matters, which provides local elementary schools in San Jose with affordable music education, taught by professional music teachers, conveniently located on the school campuses. Music Matters provides an introduction to music study for students who would otherwise not have this opportunity.
