HARP ENSEMBLE

Learning with other harpists in the SJYS Harp Ensemble, led by conductor, Kristal Schwartz, is a fun and excellent opportunity to grow as a musician. Student musicians gain proficiency in ensemble techniques — learning to listen and follow each other, watching the conductor, and understanding the responsibilities of performing as a soloist.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Saturdays from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, in the Fireside Room of Los Gatos United Methodist Church (LGUMC), located at 111 Church Street, Los Gatos, CA 95030 (map)

Concerts

The Harp Ensemble performs two concerts per season, one of which is a community outreach concert, which are free and open to the public. Admission to that concert is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, and free for kids under 5. (see their schedule of concerts for the current season)
