The Intermezzo String Ensemble is to prepare young musicians for progression to playing in a full orchestra. Members will perform string music that will build upon theoretical and musical concepts covered in the Prelude String Ensemble. Emphasis will be given to listening skills as related to playing in a large ensemble.
2014 – 2015 Season
This will be Victoria Morton’s fourth season as the conductor of the Intermezzo String Ensemble. Vickie has been the conductor for the Prelude String Ensemble for many years before that. Her very fine musicianship, her many years of experience, as well as her warm, nurturing personality has made her the perfect conductor for our younger ensemble.
Here are photos and DVD of the opening cocert.
